CAL/ACEP 2008 Board of Directors Election

Message from President-elect, Billy Mallon
Welcome to CAL/ACEP's annual Election for members of the Board of
Directors. You will need your ACEP
membership number to vote online. If you don't remember or have
access to this number, you may call the CAL/ACEP office at 800-735-2237
for assistance. Once you have your number handy, please review the
nine candidate statements carefully, then proceed to the ballot.
The
annual election ballot contains the campaign statements of the nine (9)
physicians running for the CAL/ACEP Board of Directors for the 2008-2010
term of office. There are
seven (7) seats open on the Board. Based
on our current bylaws you must vote for at least four (4) candidates
and no more than seven (7) or your ballot will be invalid.
The order of candidates on the ballot is random.
You
must vote for a number of candidates equal to at least fifty (50) percent
of the number of open positions on the
slate. (For example, since there are 7 open positions, a valid ballot must
include a vote for at least 4 candidates.)
The
nine candidates represent a wide spectrum of emergency physicians, and the
field is very strong. The Board and membership will be well
served by whichever 7 are elected.
I sincerely hope you take this opportunity to choose
your leaders and let your voice be heard.
